Hello everyone,

Thank you to all those of you who came to the society showings this week. It has been great to see so many new people at the taster sessions we ran, and we hope you all enjoyed the choices. We have attached a copy of the schedule for this term to this announcement.

We have three events being ran in the next week which we want to make everyone aware of:

The first of these events is our first weekly showing of the year in MS.05 at 18:30 on Tuesday. The format of this showing is we will show the first episode of 4 different shows, and then we will vote on the shows and the winner will be picked. The current 4 choices are Planetes, Hyouka, The Vision of Escaflowne and Golden Time. If any of these sounds interesting, feel free to come along.

Apart from that we have our first meal of the term to Shin Ramen in Coventry. The plan will be to take the bus from the Piazza to Coventry City centre at 17:45 with an estimated arrival time of 18:30. Please remember to bring cash as we get a discount if we all pay in cash, as well as cash for the bus! Signups for this are limited to 25 places due to restrictions by the restaurant. You can signup at https://animesoc.co.uk/events/event_detail/40/ (you do need to be a member).

On Saturday we have our first all nighter of the term where we will be showing a selection of anime curated by the exec with some votes midway through. You can also bring some of your personal favourites and we will vote on them! We will be in B2.04/5 from 20:00 on Saturday night to 08:00 on Sunday morning but you don’t need to stay for the entire time. Feel free to pop in at any point during the showing.

Finally, if you haven’t already consider joining our various social media channels.

Also make sure to join the society through the SU website; https://www.warwicksu.com/societies-sports/societies/animeandmanga/

Once again, thank you all for coming this week, it has been great seeing so many new people enjoying the society and we hope you have enjoyed it as much as we did running the events.
