Greetings everyone! It is the final week of term, and with it comes a PACKED announcement filled with our activities to round off spring (and coursework hell). This is going to be a good one, so check out all the news in detail as per our TL;DR:

Main Series
As per usual at 19:00 in MS.02 on Tuesday, this term’s Main Series showing of Kino no Tabi finishes with the final 3 episodes. I’m super stoked to see how Kino and Hermes’ journey concludes (although Alex will remind us of all other Kino media in existence), so hope to see you there as we come to the end of another series!
Keeping with end of term tradition, there will be no exec choice this week - instead, we have the anisoc End of Term Quiz! This will take place straight after Kino, and is filled with lovingly prepared quizzes made by the exec team. Questions will be somewhat be based on common anime knowledge, with a focus on this term’s showings. So bring your quiz hats and team up to see if you have what it takes to win!
Wednesday (16/03) Meal Social at Hayashi, Leamington
Week 10’s Meal Social will take place at Hayashi in Leamington Spa.
Signups for the social are FULL, so we cannot accept anyone turning up on the spot - PLEASE BRING CASH to pay for the meal if you are confirmed attending!
We will meet on the piazza at 19:10 to catch the bus and get there.
Thursday (17/03) Cinema Trip - Jujutsu Kaisen 0
Excited to see Gojo Satoru in the flesh again? I sure am! This Thursday, at 19:50, we will be taking a trip to watch Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (https://myanimelist.net/anime/48561/Jujutsu_Kaisen_0_Movie) at Odeon Coventry. If you have filled out the form, don’t worry - details will be posted by Koh as to logistics on the day.
If you’d like to attend, signups are open on this form https://forms.gle/17XJgfdz5bdmKjhJ7 until the day, when tickets will be booked so we can all sit near each other. Looking forward to it!
Saturday (19/03) Laser Tag
Want to finally vaporise me for my unreliable announcement timings? Well here’s your chance in our end of term laser tag trip! We’ll be heading to Laser Quest in Coventry for 3 games of pew-pew action, starting at 18:20. The cost is £13 per person.
More details including the Google Form link to pay and travel logistics are included on the Events page at https://animesoc.co.uk/events/event/80/. Please ensure you sign up for the event when signups open on Monday at 18:00. To attend, you must also bring your student ID to prove you’re a university student - please remember this at the event, although we will post another reminder closer to the time.
Sunday (20/03) Karaoke
And what would the end of term be without Karaoke? Your prayers have been answered as we return to WT1.01 for another 7 hours of singing, from 15:00 - 22:00! Bring your tunes (and Strepsils) and join us as we round off an incredibly busy term with a spectacular finale to a busy week.
