Hey @everyone,

Its time for another Weekly Announcement again. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves and had fun at Karaoke last night! This week is relatively quiet in terms of events, but first…

Perfect Blue – Warwick Student Cinema
Just a heads up that later today (Sunday), Warwick Student Cinema will be showing Satoshi Kon’s Perfect Blue, from 18:30-20:00. Members of the Anime Society who purchase tickets in-person will receive a £1 discount – just make sure to let them know you’re a member!
Tickets will cost £3 for Anime Society members, or £4 for everyone else and can be bought on the day at the cinema or online. The Student Cinema is located in L3 which you can find here; http://campus-cms.warwick.ac.uk/share/c9afe50204f2deb124de197c16be442f.

Main Series Showings
Our term-long showing of Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor will continue this Tuesday at the typical time of 19:00 in MS01. This week we will be watching episodes 20-22. If you missed last week’s episodes do catch up, as we’ll be continuing with the series until its completion in week 10.

All-Nighter
This Saturday we’ll be holding our second All-Nighter of the term in B2.04/05 (located within the Science Concourse). The event will last from 20:00 until 08:00 the following morning. You are by no means obliged to stay for the entire event but feel free too if you’re up for the challenge. There will also be plenty of breaks in between to socialise, eat and rest. Throughout the night we will be watching a wide variety of OVAs, anime and movies, chosen and voted on by those in attendance. As such, we encourage people to bring their own anime to nominate either on a USB, external HDD or DVD/Blu-ray. Starting with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, we will watch a couple of episodes and then open up voting. People will then pitch their shows to the audience, with democracy deciding whether to continue watching the current show or switch to another. If you are struggling to find the room, either check the Warwick interactive map, http://campus-cms.warwick.ac.uk/share/9dfaf7541979acb8bc8a0bf67ccd7378, or message an exec.

That’s it for this week. Have a good week ahead everyone!
