as great to see so many people at karaoke last night – we hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did! This week we’re going to MCM Comic Con so make sure you read on if you plan on going!

Main Series Showings
Our main series showing will continue this Tuesday at the typical time of 19:00 in MS01. Feel free to wait around in MS05 from 18:00 if you want to arrive earlier. This week we’ll be watching episodes 5-7 of Kaiji Ultimate Survivor.

If you missed last week’s episodes do catch up, as we’ll be continuing with the series until its completion in week 10.

Exec Choice
As usual, after the Main Series Showing we’ll vote on the Exec Choice for the week. This week’s exec choice has been selected by me! The theme is based around the concept of time; each show has, to greater or lesser extents, a focus on time, whether that be time-travel, time loops or time-related antics! You can vote for as many as you like from the following:

Comic Con Form and Logistics [Updated]

This week is Comic-Con week! For those who bought a ticket, we’ll be heading over to MCM Comic-Con in London on Saturday 23rd October! If you’re planning on coming with us, please read the rest of this section of the announcement as it contains (new) important information.

Firstly, if you’re planning on going and haven’t already done so, please fill out this Google Form: https://forms.gle/wytzL5rBv5MXq6EY6 - This is necessary so we can account for everyone on the day.

Additionally, in order to enter Comic-Con, you will be required to provide just one of the following:

Proof of full course of vaccination.
Proof of negative COVID test within the last 48 hours (Lateral flow test is accepted).
Proof of natural immunity shown by a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, lasting for 180 days after the date of the positive test and following completion of the self-isolation period.

Information on the logistics of the trip, such as what time to meet, set off, and which trains to get, can be found in the link below.

Caius will do a brief talk/Q&A regarding the logistics and other aspects of the trip after the Tuesday weekly showing on 19th October so if you have any questions, feel free to raise them there!

5-a-side football update

Huge thanks to everyone who got in touch with me regarding potentially starting up a 5-a-side football team after the last announcement. I can now provide more information on logistics and cost. This will vary depending on whether you have a Campus Club Pass and Sport Federation Membership or not.

For those without a Sports Federation Membership, the cost to join will be approximately £104 (£66 for a Campus Pass Membership Fee; £32 for Sports Federation Membership; and £6 for Five-a-Side Membership).

For those with a Campus Club Pass and Sports Federation Membership, the cost would just be £6.

For those with Sports Federation Membership but with a Non-Campus Club Pass, the cost would be £41 (£35 for the On Campus upgrade, £6 for Five-a-Side Membership).

This was more expensive than we expected, so we’d like to gauge interest once again. If you’re still interested in joining, and would be willing to pay the fees, please register in the Form below.

If there’s still enough interest I will provide information regarding logistics in the next announcement. That’s it for this week’s announcement. Hope you all have a great week ahead! :anichan_thumbs_up:
