President

Joel (Buugipopuu) (Top left) oversees the running of the society and it’s his responsibility to know what’s happening, when it’s happening. He is the face of AnimeSoc and represents the syndicate in all public matters. The president’s main objective is to have the bigger picture in mind; to continually look for opportunities - and take them - so that AnimeSoc can grow; as well as being the main driving force behind AnimeSoc reaching new heights on the awesome plane.

When things do go wrong it becomes all about communication and making the best of the situation. Being resourceful (i.e. knowing who can help) is something of a bonus!

Treasurer

Ivan (N-T-S) (Top centre-left) is in charge of the society’s finances - getting money from the SUnion to purchase things such as new library items, writing up the budget and keeping track of our assets (all of which entail some paper work). Traditionally the treasurer tries to get opinions on what to buy for the library as well as the librarian.

Secretary

Colin (Top centre) is the main administrator of the society as he draws up an agenda for, and keeps minutes at, meetings; books rooms for the society’s use; and organises the filling out of any neccesary forms.

If the president is the one with the bigger picture in mind then the secretary has the details in focus, reasoning and implementing the president’s decisions and seeing them through to its final stage as well.

Because the secretary is usually quite busy scribbling/typing at meetings, they may find it difficult to contribute as much as they’d like at meetings - hence it is important that agendas for meetings be drawn up if they wish to contribute as fully as possible.

Communications

Angela (Mizumimi) (Top centre-right) is in charge of sending out emails to members detailing all the upcoming events, and producing all of the Society's publicity, including the fresher's fair stall and other public events. This is the main mouth piece of the society. She's also nominally responsible for organising and running society socials.

Librarian

Anees (dangerman) (Top right) and Brian (Aksan) (Bottom left) co-ordinate the running of the library; ensures the library database on the website accurately reflects the reality; chases up late items with horrifying emails; seeks to have a vast library that puts all others to shame; and, of course, catalogues and checks the library in an unrestricted manner. ;-)

Webanimals

Kim (Fyorl) (Bottom centre-left) and Faiz (Hikari1690) (Bottom centre) maintain and update the website. It is difficult to express the true difficulty of this job in a single sentence. So here's three.

Defense Officer

Tom (TeamDoherty) (Bottom centre-right) shoots people who in any way threaten the society from inside of his GN Particle powered Gundam equipped with GN Bazooka. Really.

Brigade Chief and Coventry Uni Liason

Elizabeth (Kuros) (Bottom right) just dresses up like a bunny a lot. Attempts to find Aliens, Time Travellers and Espers/sliders... but is actually in love with...
