Hello freshers.

Post by Buugipopuu » Tue Sep 07, 2010 10:01 pm

It's a new academic year, so barring unprecedented changes in Warwick's admissions policy, there'll be lots of new people turning up when term starts. If you're one of those people, and interested in Anime and Manga (which would be suggested by the fact that you're here reading this post), you should check out the info on this site, and come and see us at the Freshers' Fair in the Students' Union on Thursday the 7th of October. If you're from the future and you missed it, you can still join the society online, or you can just show up at our weekly showings on Tuesdays (starting week 2*). Probably at 19:00, probably in S0.21, but since room bookings aren't open yet, that's not for sure. I can confirm that they will both be at a time, and in a place though. Expect real information on where we are and how to get there when the University actually lets us book rooms.

*If you come in week 1, we'll be there, but only for organisation and setup purposes, so any anime that gets shown will be purely incidental. The first real showing is week 2.

RANDOM FACT

In So Ra No Wo To only young girls can join the army, because they have to be able to fit through small underground warrens to fight the war against owls. This is not a joke.

Plain Sailing...

Post by Mizumimi » Thu May 27, 2010 8:41 am

With Ponyo down and Hangry and Angry about over, we're experiencing a peaceful lull as exams get closer.

However, there will still be the weekly showings every Tuesday from 7.00 and the quiz will be occurring some time around week 9. Look forward to it!
